  I have never enjoyed a trip to Port A more!! This house is amazingly close to the beach which is what a trip to the beach was all about!!
  The drain in the master bedroom shower is slow to drain.

  howerver,if you have small infants, keep in mind it is three stories high. It could get hectic watching your children, making sure they don't climb up and down the stairs.

  I rented this unit for my mother-in-law's 65th bday, I don't think any of the 8 women there will ever forget it! SO close to the beach and just a quaint, welcoming place. You felt like you could just sink into the wonderful couch and never leave, I know we were all sad to go home. We got up each morning at daybreak to watch the sunrise from the deck, it does not get any better than that. My new favorite in Port A!

  Upstairs shower head clip needs to be replaced. Coffee pot not original for coffee maker and had to rig it to make it work. Everything else was terrific!

  The location was the best on the beach. Not many people and very low stress. Couldn't see the great beach view out of some of the windows even after cleaning. They need replacement. Beyond that everything was great.

  1.The Microwave over the stove did not work , but there was a small portable available
  2.the shower on the 3rd floor was not working properly - fixture damaged
  3. Couple light bulbs out
  too many people parked 3 vehicles in driveways making parking a challenge
  we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it

  We had a great stay at Beachfront Bliss! The kitchen was very well stocked. Great view from the patio, and the beach and water were cleaner than we have seen it in years!!

  Though weather was windy and cool, the setting was comfortable and cozy. View is gorgeous, being right on the dunes overlooking the Gulf. The flat screen TV in the main room has some kind of hiccup which we could not eliminate, a black box obscuring the lower half of the screen alternating at times various channels. Kitchen was well equipped. Great to have washer/dryer easily accessible. Very tastefully decorated. Enjoyed our stay. Like Port A very much. The whooping crane festival is a real plus: great tours and highly informative lectures. Port A has good restaurants especially for a community of its size. Thanks. D and K Larson

  This house was right on the beach with a great balcony to relax on. The gate on the balcony was not hinged and fell on one of our children when we tried to open it. The house was a little rundown on the outside but was in good shape inside. The location couldn't be beat. It was as close to the beach as you can get. Great with little kids because it was just a short stroll to the beach over the boardwalk. There are few developments around the house so there were only a few families on the beach.
  
  The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and the living room was well stocked with games. I would rent it again.

• We had a great time. The location and layout are very nice. The finishes and furniture are a bit dated but in good shape. I think that this is as close as you can get to the beach on Mustang Island! Loved to be able to grill fish outside!

  This is our first time in this house and second time renting from Port a Escape. The view from this beach HOME is magnificent. During our stay, there was full moon so the view was so romantic and relaxing at night. The house is decorated with unique things and feels very cozy like home. A few minor set backs: the DVD player and the jacuzee does not work, had it worked our stay would be extra wonderful. There was a bar-b-que in the garage (we brought our own since it was not listed online). We definitely will come back in the future. Thank you for sharing the house with us.
