  If you want a small well-equipped place to stay in Port Aransas, this is the place for you! It's in a great location close to the beach with nice grounds and pool. It's also pet friendly. Enjoy your stay!

• Fantastic location, nice and comfortable room, reason for only 4 stars on general condition is that TV was blurry and DVD did not work, but should be easy to replace. Overall, awesome time at Island Retreat # 16 and will recommend to all!

  It was a bit of a do it yourself stay due to spring break but otherwise you could not ask for more. Port A Escapes was friendly and helpful at all times even during the rush of spring breakers which I am sure strained them to their limits. Thank you for a great time, we will definitely be coming back!

  My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Port A! The condo was really clean, well-maintained and well-furnished. It is only a short walk down the boardwalk to the beach and the two community pools were wonderful. Great for a weekend vacation that doesn't break the bank.

  This condo was perfect for our extended weekend trip to Port Aransas. The condo was very nice and actually larger than I expected. Both the room and property were nice and clean. The pools were also nice. Only downside was that the boardwalk to the beach was a pretty good walk from the room so we chose to drive onto the beach instead of lugging all of our stuff and a small child on foot. We will definately stay again.

  Best of all was Lynn at Port A Escapes; Got me a 3-night deal at a perfect place. Island Retreat was just great. A clean little condo that actually let me bring my dogs in. There is a shower outside so we kept them clean. We've already recommended it to

  This property was clean and perfect for our stay. The photos on the website just don't do it justice. It is so much cuter than I imagined. Perfect for 2 or 4 people. It is a studio, but it has a bed and a fold out couch bed, so it was perfect for us, plus only a nice short walk to the beach. Very nice property!

  A few minor defects in the unit but to be expected due to the age of the property. It was over all a well kept unit and not a far walk to the beach or pool. The Rental Company was also very open and helpful about the few small issues that we had.
