  Lorna was extremely helpful in making the reservations and handling us with the weather issues. We had problem with our sink in room 407 but they responded and fixed it. Overall we were very pleased with the property and stay.

  This location is perfect! It's at the Gulf and very conveniently located ~ near shops and restaurants. The Unit itself was very well maintained and comfortable. Furnishings looked as thought they had been recently added, and there was a freshness to the if it had been aired out frequently, and cared for with TLC! This is a very well maintained property, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free vacation at the Gulf.
  My only criticism: the front door doornob was loose and hard to manage. A replacement lock is in order. The deadbolt lock was very easy to lock from the inside, but not able to be locked with a key from the outside. I prefer double security, so these locks could definitely be looked at.

  We are very happy with the overall experience. I just wish that the person that checked us in was a little more accomodating. We arrived a little bit early - 3:00pm and she told us that we can't check in until 4:00. She then called at around 3:30 to tell us we can now check in. It was a little irritating after an 8 hour drive. The room was clean but had some crickets in the bedroom & bathrooms and trash from our room was never picked up.

• We visited Port Aransas with our friends. The Beachead condo's are located close to the beach and are well furnished. The Gulfview balconies are an added bonus. My kid said "This place feels like home". We will surely go back to this place again.

  Great location. We were on the 2nd floor and when it rained on saturday, there was no covered walkway to reach our condo. We all got wet.

  Beachhead condominiums is a nice place for Port Aransas vacation. We rented 2 condos, stay at 405, and 406. VERY please with 406. The kitchen has been recently renovated and I love the style. Unit 405 on the other hand was very outdated and had a distinct old smell to it. I had a great time either way. The pool is just a regular pool but I had lots of fun there. I wished the volleyball court was filled with sand instead of shells. The picnic tables and outdoor grills were nice. Beach access is nice too. Overall I highly recommend this place. Please management, could you replace the shells and rocks on the volleyball court to soft sand. Thanks!

  This is second year I have taken my daughter and my two grandsons (ages 9 & 6) to Port A. They actually requested to return this year. We played in the surf w/skim boards, tubes, etc. Flew kites, built sand castles and looked for shells. Restaurants are close and good food. We especially liked the Brewing Company pizza place. Saw beautiful sunset from Virginia's by the Bay. The Coldwell Banker people we dealt with were wonderful and so very helpful. Condo was large enough for us all and couldn't have asked for a better location. My 6 year old grandson says that the excitement of seeing your condo for the first time and getting a feel for the place is one of his favorite things. You passed his test. See you all at Port A next year!

  The unit's general condition was ok. The AC unit drain tube clogged and leaked but staff did an excellent job of responding and getting it fixed. The only improvement would be updating the unit we rented and cleaning the carpets. The carpet needed some attention. Great location, good value, nice pool, lawns and bbq pits, can walk to the beach. Always enjoy our stay at the Beachhead. Property management reps were very helpfull. Hope to be back soon.

  What I dislike about Beachhead is the damage waiver that you charge. You are charging everyone for the damages one in 10 people may cause. Because of this fee I may not be back and I am not sure I would recommend Beachhead.

  I took a group of people to stay in a couple of these condos, and we all had a great time. The walk to the beach is very easy (although we weren't carrying anything). We were all adults, but I could see this being great for a small family as well.
