  We ornganized a Christmas weekend getaway with 9 families at dolphin cove. We had no problems with the location. Everyone had a bedroom to sleep in. The property is very well designed for large groups. We went fishing on Saturday and Sunday and caught lots of fish. I highly recommend port Aransas and dolphin cove. We are planning on returning during the summer. Albert Robledo

  the homes were a dream come true for individuals that got to stay there. everything was so comfortable and roomy. the pool was great. the house was stocked with wonderful things in the kitchen. i would just remind the house keepers to clean the grill outside. it was so dirty we could not even cook on it. the grease burned so bad we had to let it burn itself out. the rooms were awesome. the TV's everywhere were great. it truly made dreams come true for the guys we took there. we will be back next year. thank you.

  We LOVED our week at Dolphin Cove. It is a wonderful house for a large group. The house is divided into 4 separate areas so there is plenty of space for people to spread out with no one ever feeling crowded. And there are several gathering places where everyone can hang out together, as well. It is really the perfect vacation rental for any large group!
  We LOVED the pool and outdoor seating area and spent most of our time out there when we weren't at the beach. The beach is a 1 minute drive which we all agreed was much better than having walking access where you have to lug your beach chairs, coolers, sand toys, towels, etc.... By driving, we could park directly on the beach and have all of our "stuff" right next to us.
  We would highly recommend this house to everyone and will definitely stay there again if our travels bring us back to Port Aransas.

  I rented this house for a company retreat in Port Aransas. There were 19 of us and everyone had a great time. The house is spectacular. The layout is great for groups and the common areas were well done. I only had a couple of issues.
  The house did have towels, but they were not distributed proportionally among the bathrooms. For example, one bathroom connected two bedrooms that slept 5 people (total) but there was only 3 towels and in another bathroom that would serve only 4 people, there were 9 towels. This can make for an awkward situation if you come out of the shower looking for a towel and there are none to be had.
  The private pool was wonderful to have, but since it had a volleyball net, it would have been nice to actually have a volleyball to be able to play.
  Lastly, I wasn't at all impressed with the management company. Patrick, the agent who booked the reservation for me was extremely helpful. He did tell me that I could call around noonish and I might be able to get into the house a little early since I was having to set up for almost 20 people. However, when I called on Saturday, they told me that it would probably be closer to 4 pm before I could get the keys. They also said that they would call me as soon as it was available. We had already driven by the property and talked to the cleaning crew. They told us that they would be through by 2 pm. So just after 2, I stopped at the rental office and they told me that it still wasn't ready but once again said they would call me as soon as it was. I actually ended up going back to the office after 4 pm because they never did call.
  Overall, I give the house 5 stars and the management company 2 stars and that's only because of how helpful Patrick was during the booking process.
  If you ever have the opportunity to stay at Dolphin Cove definitely do it, just don't expect too much from the management company.

  We had 23 people stay on this property and it just was not a let down! Everyone had plenty of room to spread out, but yet we could easily find each other as well! The pool was warm during the day, but was wonderful at night! The beach was great and close with easy access as I was told it was. Bring beach towels though as those are not provided and if you have handicapped persons, there are only two bedrooms downstairs, so that might be a consideration in deciding where to stay. The management team was easily accessible for any concerns we had. It was quiet at night and very enjoyable. I look forward to another stay in Village Walk! Thank you for a memorable reunion!!

  Great time and wonderful house. Really spread out the people so never felt crowded. We were the first group to stay in the house, so a few maintenance issues, but easy to resolve. The house does not have walking beach access, but only a 1 minute drive. Overall, fun times for the adults and kids.
