Great House

The house was just as attractive as the pictures showed. Home was very well equipped with anything we needed. The location was very convenient to all areas of Port Aransas. We had an issue with ants which was rapidly addressed and the dishwasher didn’t work. Technician came out that day and said replacement was necessary which wouldn’t happen for several days. Would definitely consider returning here

Amazing location, place and hosts.

The condo was easy to find and easy to get in and out of. We had 3 large vehicles with plenty of room to park. The place was immaculate with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evenings eating dinner and swimming in the pool with the kids at the end of our day. Plenty of towels were provided for our large group. We would absolutely stay again and again.

You CANNOT beat the location of this rental home. Centrally located to EVERYTHING and minutes from the beach. Home was very clean and provided all the amenities we wanted plus more. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

The Great Escape

I appreciated learning how the garage door worked and being kept cool by the ice cold air that was experienced as the A/C was auto programmed to all times of the day with the coldest being tuned in at midnight. I appreciated the much needed change of scenery and experience. I hope that I would have the opportunity to return on any weekdays or weekends NOT being the 1st, 3rd or 5th weekends. My VERY favorite new store is Mrs. Woody's and next time I am able to enjoy the Port A beach area, this lovely boutique will be on my permanent stop to shop every time I'm in the area. It was a great place to getaway and enjoy early morning sunrises.

A Welcomed Getaway

We booked this at the very last minute and it was perfect. There was some miscommunication at first but the owners took care of it right away and were very nice about it. We had 6 adults and 3 children and we all fit perfectly. The location is great; not "on the beach" but walking distance to everything you need. The amenities were perfect and the place was very clean and welcoming. There were plenty of things for entertainment including games, movies and lots of space for family activities. We will definitely keep this property in mind for future vacations.

Awesome vacation location

When we arrived at rental location,we all were very pleased with property. Had plenty of parking outside of unit and inside garage. Unit was very clean and a beautiful floor layout plan. Patio scenery was also refreshing and close to pool for kids to enjoy. We had a wonderful time and will use this service again. Close to food and beach also.

Convenient and comfortable

We had a wonderful stay for our first visit to Port Aransas. The condo was comfortable with all of the amenities and the kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed, including a great coffee maker, pots and pans, and dishwear. The water pressure was great and it was clean. We were within walking distance of the beach, the grocery store, restaurants, and shopping. We hope it's available when we go back.

Wonderful, welcoming home!

Alden's Anchor is an beautifully decorated, welcoming beach home. The layout was perfect for our family with an active child. Lots of room to spread out and relax and play games. The location is amazing! A short golf cart ride to the beach. You could even walk it if you wanted to. Close to all the activity, but in a location that was quite and relaxing. We will definitely being staying at Alden's Anchor again! We had a great time!

Perfect Port Aransas Stay!

As a long time traveler and a partaker of some fantastic vacations, I believe that this sweet beach house is one to make note of for your next trip. My family and I loved the location. This beach house is just a few steps away from the pool and walking distance from all the fun shops, grocery store, and Spanky’s! You can ride your bike, rented golf cart, or car to the beach within minutes. The house is also equipped with wireless internet and two smart TVs, which came in handy when I needed to settle down my two little ones. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook your catch of the day, and the spacious patio includes a grill. My family played RummiCube and Dominoes out on the patio every night – so fun! What I also liked about the house was the fact it had a very fun beach theme. Once you stay here, this will be your new favorite vacation destination! Perfect for a family getaway!

Family Beach Weekend

Wonderful home to stay for a vacation in Port A! Very close to the beach and all of the great spots to eat and shop! The decor is great and the balcony is off the living room making the family space even more enjoyable. The house was clean and there were many items available to us for a wonderful weekend. Caldwell Stay At Alden's Anchor

We had a wonderful time as a family in this little home away from home. There was plenty of room for the six of us and the crew's quarters were so spacious they could have each brought friends. Great Property

My family's stay at the property was great. The home has been undated and was exceptionally comfortable. The patio was quiet and a great place to take in breakfast or an evening glass of wine. We were conveniently located near the main road to grab some essentials that we left home without. And, the beach as was a pleasant walk from the property. The garage areas offered great place to secure bikes and some beach chairs, etc. We've already talked about our next visit. Highly recommend.

Great vacation home

We loved the time we spent here in this home. it’s a beautiful, clean, spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay like we were at home. I loved the deck over looking the pond, it made for peaceful morning for a cup of coffee. I would strongly recommend this home for next vacation in Port A.
