Overall, I would say the house had most everything needed. We cooked in quite a bit, so if you're going to do that, I'd suggest bringing some cooking utensils as the ones provided are very cheap and bendable. I was disapppointed there isn't more of an outdoor space - but that's obvious from pictures. Just wish the porch has been a bit larger so we could sit outside. Other than than, the rooms were a good size and having the garage available to put extra drinks, do laundry, store our stuff was a plus. The location is good to both beach and restaurants, especially if you rent a golf cart (which we suggest you do from Red's - they deliver and pick it up). This trip was sort of last minute as our previous booking plans had fallen through. The price was a bit much for what you actually get (no outside space for example) but overall a nice rental. We did not have to contact the hosts for anything breaking, also a plus. Thank you.

This house has everything you really need for a nice beach getaway. The photos represent the house very well. I already knew I loved this neighborhood - Pool is a short walk away and the beach is about 5 minutes or less by golf cart. You wont regret getting a golf cart for your stay - theres plenty of places to go. The Texan was a favorite for my daughter because of their slushees. We golf carted all over the accepted area only leaving to have dinner at Castaways. We loved our stay! Thank you!

We enjoyed the house very much. Its a little smaller than the one we stayed at in April but it was very cozy. Plenty of room for everyone to sit to watch tv at night.

Overall, the property was good and met our needs just fine. However, we do have a few suggestions for the owners to make future guests more comfortable:
*A Keurig-type coffee maker;
*Hooks in the bathrooms to hang wet towels on and hooks on the outside for wet swimsuits/beach towels;
*A larger trash can in the kitchen;
*A sign on the outside front stating the name of the property;
*Make sure all light bulbs are replaced and all fixtures are working. Also, it looks like the old smoke detector was replaced in the master bedroom, but the wires are still hanging out of the hole. Small things like that make a difference for guests.

Village Walk is always a great place to Stay!!! The Casita Margarita is great for group of 8/10 people. Checking in and out is very easy, Staff is very helpful! We will keep this house in mind next time we stay.

Casita Margarita 3VW was clean,well laid out, & comfortable beds. We just have a few suggestions for improvement. Hooks for hanging towels and wet suits downstairs. Outside seating. More kitchen supplies. There were no mixing or serving bowls, no drink pitchers, the coffee cups are too small, and the blender did not have a pitcher, only the motor part. The kitchen trashcan is too small, it is more of a bathroom size for tissues. Also, I realize I should have reported this to the management so maintenance could fix, but I forgot: the ceiling fan in the downstairs bedroom needs to be adjusted, it was clicking too loudly to use while sleeping. Other than these small things, all was good.

It was a great experience. However when we got to house we tried to turn tv on and the romote was full of water and would not turn on. When we went to bed that night the 2 bedrooms upstairs the beds next to window were soaking wet. We called next morning and they sent someone to take the bedding and clean them. They also gave us a new remote. The shower downstairs was scolding hot. Could not shower. My husband a plumber turned down the temperature so that we could take a shower. Other than that it was a great stay.

This property was perfect! It was clean and well maintained when we arrived and it had all the necessary amenities for our stay. I would definitely come back for another stay and recommend to anyone! The management made our check in and check out process simple and convenient. Very much enjoyed our stay.

We had no problems at all, we were close to the heated pool and the kids had a great time. Beach is about 1/4 mile drive or walk. No direct beach access, but I rented a golf cart and never took my car to the beach, so no sand. The unit is roomy and clean. Concrete floors on lower level, and wood floors on upper level. Kitchen is adequately equipped, regular drip coffee maker, and 2 slice toaster, microwave, glass top oven and large oven. The floor pan in the master bath shower is cracked, but I told the host about it after my stay, so may be repaired/replaced soon. There also was a small BBQ grill on porch, but no good place to light it. I ended up using the vacant lot next door to grill as everything else would be too close to the building. There is a washer and dryer in the garage, which we used to wash beach towels, and since our stay was 5 days, the bath towels. I would definitely consider this property rental again.

the house was nicely furnished. Location was very convenient. We did not have access to a washer/dryer and there were limited pan options in the kitchen. there were also no dish towels. Pool was nice.

I was looking for a unit with a ground floor main room and at least one bedroom since I was traveling with someone with limited abiity to climb stairs. This unit fit those needs very well! The unit was spacious and the furniture was nice and in good condition. Many of the units in this complex had outdoor seating areas, but our unit did not. That would have been a bonus. It would have been very helpful to have the complete address displayed. We wandered around the complex looking for the right building because the house was identified only as VW, not the street name. Also, while the dishes were great, the condition of the pots and pans made it difficult to cook. We had to scramble eggs in a small sauce pan as the skillet's surface was ruined and and griddle so warped that the pan only touched the heating element on the far corners.

nice rental, easy drive to the beach! Narrow streets & parking was a bit challenging but managed.
Bushes around the house could use a trim didn't realize that there was a outdoor shower till a few days later due to over grown bushes.

Only a few problems: had trouble getting our key after hours, had trouble getting door unlocked, bedspread was dirty, yellow chairs were very dirty looking, nothing stocked except hotel soap & toilet paper. No coffee or anything to get by with. BUT overall, we enjoyed the stay & everything else was fine. Staff was very courteous.

We had a "cousin's reunion" in Port Aransas and these two beach houses that we rented next to each other were just perfect! We had several families in each house and the 3 bathrooms wwprked out great. We would recommend this property to anyone who is planning to vacation in Port A.

My family had a great time. The house was nice and comfortable. There were only a few things that i would have liked to have known in advance one we have children and the house was not gated in the back yard area so there was no privacy when we were out there cooking out, also we are big on cooking so there was not enough cooking utensils to cook inside with. Another thing is that the beach was not walking distance and there is no beach access from the house location you have to drive to the beach and also pay for a beach parking pass that you can actually get at any convinience store. other than that the stay was great!

The only bad thing I could say about this site was the driveway was sand. Every time we would come inside, sand was tracked throughout the condo. Pretty much had to wear shoes the entire trip. Other wise the place was nice and the property management was wonderful.

We had a great time and the place was very good. The house was nice and the location was good also. It's about .75 miles from the beach and there is no direct access. The only complaints about the house: (1)Concrete floor with no carpet. It gets pretty gritty and its rough on small kids if they fall down and is loud when chairs or stools are moved. On the up side: it is stained and looks nice and it is really easy to clean up.(2) Cell service is not good unless you run upstairs whenever the phone rings- if it rings... (3) WiFi is hit and miss in some parts of the house (4) Trailer park behind the house got noisy on some nights with people playing music loud. They were polite when asked to turn it down. (5) No closet space to speak of (except a linen closet in the master bath). Keep in mind, we stayed for a month and these were our ONLY issues and the review is very positive, these are just the things you might want to know before a trip so that you can adjust accordingly. We will definitely consider this house again.

The house was in great condition. I love the fact that you can drive to Caldwell Pier in a matter of minutes. And if you need to go to HEB, it is a quick trip across the Ferry. I will absolutely use this property in my future travels to Port A
