Great Condo
Our family had the pleasure of staying at Channelview 118 in June of 2026. This is an upscale condo at a very reasonable price. The large, full length windows that overlook the canal give the room a luxury feel and create a beautiful atmosphere with the ample sunshine that protrudes into the living room. The beds are perhaps the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a rental unit. The owners of this unit or Channelview themselves seem to prioritize high quality furnishings. The refrigerator is large and appears to be very new. Same for the faucet and stove/microwave. The room was clean and well-kept. We didn't observe any kind of negligence such as doors that wouldn't close or lights that didn't work. The pool is clean and well-maintained. The fishing pier is well kept, private, and provided fantastic trout action all night long. On two nights I saw security checking the pier so that added another level of security. This was a wonderful experience for our family and we hope to stay here again in the future

Great stay for fishing
Our intention was specifically to fish and we managed to do plenty! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well laid out, dock is ideal for fishing.

Great place to stay.
This is a perfect spot to stay in Port A. It is close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping.
The private pier is perfect for anyone who plans on fishing. My kids love watching the dolphins, the sea turtles swimming under on the pier, and catching fish.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We overlooked the fact that there was no elevator and lugging suitcase up the stairs at our age was a bit difficult but I guess that's on us since the listing did say no elevator. The kitchen had plenty of dinnerware and cups and glasses but some were dirty in the cupboard. We could have used a larger pot. We made spagetti and had to use 2 smaller pots to boil it. Also, the closets in the bedrooms had only one (1) hanger each. We left a few that we bought for the next renter, but come on...one hanger each? The location is great and close to town which we found very convenient.

Convenient Location for dining and the beach
We love staying here! Very convenient to get to the beach and easy for dining as well. The pool is always well maintained and covered parking spot is great too. We will be back again soon!

Great Unit 118, But Large Barking dog next dor
We had a great time at Channel view. Only issue was the owners dog next door. Every time they would leave for fishing or going out the Dog would bark constantly

Hi Andrew, we are so sorry the neighbors dog was disruptive. We've spoken to him and he assures us he will not leave him unattended if he comes in town again. Perfect Fishing
Condo was amazing. Well designed, well decorated, and came with everything we needed. Property has a great pool and sitting area. Lighted pier was a definite for us. Allowed me to catch my personal best bull redfish. Definitely gonna stay here again.
