Channel View for the Win!
Channel View is unlike anything else. Where else can you spend quality time with friends and family while enjoying a heated pool in the Fall/Winter, quality pier fishing out your front door, and watching epic tankers cruise by (look for dolphins at the bow!).

I have stayed at Channelview before
Enjoyed the stay, check in and out was very easy. Room was clean and comfortable. My concern was the pier! The pier is a plus but this time it needed cleaning desperately. Suggestion please give it a good power wash!

Great location, Smooth trip
The location was great. Easy to get to. Our kids loved seeing the big ships come down the channel. The pool was nicely maintained and was not noisy. The unit was clean and as advertised. We reserved the location for 4 however we were only left with bath towels for 3. Not a huge issue, we just washed the towels more frequently. There was only a light blanket for those sleeping on the couch bed. If you are cold natured I would suggest bringing some additional bedding. There was no neighborly noise to speak of but during the day there were construction workers doing work on the units. This included drilling, hammering and other fairly loud activities. This was the disappointing part of the stay. I was not feeling well and was looking forward to relaxing in the condo while the kids went out and enjoyed the beach. Unfortunately I was frequently awakened with the construction noise. Overall, we would return at a later time. The issues were small or temporary (referring to the construction work - I assume). Fun location close to food and entertainment.

Ruined vacation
ruined by construction noise that was so loud you could not hear on phone calls. Noise was made by roto hammer on concrete ceiling above condo. Happened everyday caneled last days of vacation and went home.

Great!
Upon arrival the condo was clean! We had an easy check in and check out, the other guest was pleasant to be around, and the location was great. The fishing was amazing and the pier was safe for kids! Overall the stay was great, I would recommend to others and come back myself! Only thing I would criticize is the mattresses and bedding are uncomfortable (but that is a personal preference). But it was no big deal for a 2 night stay. Thank you!

Great getaway! Love love the pier!
The unit had everything we needed and was updated. We loved the CB pool area and really enjoyed watching boats from the pier. The night fishing off the pier was excellent.

Average Stay
We don't mind paying extra to stay at Channelview because of the privacy and security of the gate. Unfortunately the security gate was not working during our entire stay which allowed non quests to come and go on the fishing pier. The room was great but the fishing was not so great as these non quests were camped out at the end of the pier for hours at a time.

Another successful trip:
It was nice to walk into the condo and see it so clean and shiny and new. The remodel after the storm looks great. The condo had plenty of towels, most everything we needed in the kitchen, and then some. We had another wonderful stay.

Overall very good stay. Great condo and location. One suggestion is to make sure to give guests the correct gate code. Also two days to get hot water in shower fixed is to long. Loved the trip and will definitely be back.

Loved Channelview!
Everything was bright and clean. Loved the view, pool and private pier. Also loved that it was away from all the traffic.

good location on ship channel
First this unit had terrible internet service! Also I had to go outside to talk on my cell phone. The unit could use some Updates and paint. But the area was quiet and the condo was comfortable. We were stuck in the elevator for about 10-15 minutes. So I really didn't trust going on it again and use the stairs. It was nice to have the parking garage and we felt safe in the unit.

Channelview 204 for Harvest Moom Regatta
Perfect location with great pier. Well furnished and spacious for 1 BR. Rental company was very helpful and proactive. Only negative was the trim paint in the condo needed a touch up.

First time in Port A
Very charming rental. Our stay was even more pleasant because of room 204's charm, cleanliness and funtionality. Everything you need and a nice view to boot! The private peir experience in the evenings was awesome. There were fish, dolphins and pelicans each night.
Overall it was comfortable accommodations and clean. Loved the king size bed!
