COURTESY NOTICE – ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT
A roof replacement project is underway at the complex beginning October 5, 2026, and is expected to continue through approximately November 30, 2026, weather permitting. Construction is scheduled Monday through Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

During this time, guests may experience construction noise, workers and equipment on-site, and temporary restrictions to certain areas of the property. A portion of the parking lot will be closed for construction equipment, and pool access may be limited periodically. We appreciate your understanding as the complex undergoes these improvements.

Quiet, convenient, comfortable, and great ocean view
We chose this spot because it was away from the busier areas, convenient to places we wanted to visit (and did), had an ocean view, an ocean view balcony deck, was a very close walk to its beach. Secondarily, it was top floor of a smaller condo building, and a corner unit. It was very quiet and perfect for our needs. That balcony deck was a lovely spot to have coffee and breakfast while enjoying the view, planning our day, and birdwatching. Consider adding a couple of foldable lounge chairs and chair cushions - those polywood Trex chairs are hard to sit on for more than 20 minutes when you're trying to enjoy the view. The overall layout is good, and the master area is a wide "shotgun" suite from back bath to hallway lined with sliding mirrored closets to bedroom. Kitchen is large enough, with a somewhat compact LR/DR combo - a little bit of a tighter space. Master bath is a conveniently large space. Consider adding safety bars in shower or converting to walk-in shower. The King master bed and ceiling fan gave us some very comfortable sleeps, and the BR/hall is spacious. The kitchen is large enough for two people to move about easily, but needs a few more items: some dinner size serving bowls, more cereal bowls, more silverware, a few big tumblers. Thrift stores can be great options to get things like this inexpensively. The large heavy skillet we used for making omelets and stir fry was excellent! Unfortunately, there was no skillet lid that fit well. Livingroom couch needs to be replaced; it is too soft in the middle and way too low. We used a lot of pillows for balance and comfort. It's in a great spot for watching TV. The LR curtain rods need fixing or replacing, as well as tiebacks for the drapes. When you open the drapes, the left curtain rod pulls loose (it was that way when we checked in). My 6'3" tall husband put it pack in place twice. The hooks on the rods to hold drapes back are too high for shorter folks to reach. We appreciated the shopping carts/laundry carts for moving in/out and stuff to haul every day/evening for our daytrips. Convenient open parking lot and at least one working elevator of the two were appreciated. Management was friendly and responsive. Overall, we'd stay in a similar unit again.

Grand Caribbean GC4001 This was my third consecutive year renting at the Grand Caribbean, but this unit fell below the standard of previous stays. The patio door lock needing repaired was probably known prior to my scheduled arrival. The hall bathroom lacks a toilet paper holder so the roll of paper has to be placed on the sink or inconveniently placed on the back of the toilet. The light over the stove needs the bulb replaced. The kitchen faucet lacks enough water pressure and hot water to adequately handle handwashing dishes. The carpets are extremely dirty and overdue for professional cleaning. I had to put a sheet on the floor so the six and eight month old babies were not directly on the carpet I will continue to choose the property for its convenient beach access, which is especially important for a disabled family member and allows us to enjoy the beach without driving. I have also appreciated the cleanliness of the outdoor areas maintained by Anna and her crew. Although I plan to continue staying at the Grand Caribbean, I will return to units I have rented before because they were better maintained. The $40-per-night price difference for this unit was not worthwhile.

Our team is following up on the missing toilet paper holder, stove light, kitchen faucet and hot water, as well as your concerns about the carpet. We are aware of the lock on that particular patio door. There is a second door that provides access to the balcony, but we certainly understand why you mentioned it and appreciate the feedback. We know this stay didn't measure up to the experiences you've had at Grand Caribbean in the past, and we'd really love the opportunity to change that.
