Introducing Lucky Dog Cottage SC1. This gorgeous coastal cottage is located right in the heart of Port Aransas—walking distance to the restaurants and shops. The first floor will invite you into an open living room and kitchen. An alcove bedroom offering a twin over twin bunk bed. You will also find a half bath, washer, dryer and ice maker! Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms, and 2 full baths. The first bedroom has a king size bed and a private bath. The second, offers a king sharing a bathroom with, the 3rd bedroom offering 2 twin beds. There is plenty of room to park a boat. The beach is just a quick ride away. This cozy complex also offers a community pool shared by only 10 homes. Please be aware: This home does have external cameras. STR# 382860

- A two-night minimum stay is required.
- The minimum age requirement for reserving and check in is 25. A signed rental agreement with the host and a copy of the contracting guest's drivers license is required
- This is a PET-FRIENDLY RENTAL. Pet fees are an additional $25.00+tax, per pet, per night. A maximum of 3 pets are allowed. Additionally, a pet-cleaning fee is also charged, which is $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days, and $100 for stays of 30 or more days.

Beautiful Beach Home
The home was beautiful and super clean. The location was perfect, minutes away from the beach (we drove around in a golf cart). The parking fit two cars and the golf cart on the side. The kitchen was fully equipped. My only complaint was for the room with the bunk beds and laundry mashine in the same room, created a very musky smell and my kids had a hard time breathing fresh air in this room. The washing machine had a leak or something was wrong, because water was on the ground, and my kids complained daily. They said that the room also stayed pretty warm even with the AC I ended up getting them a little fan to use at night. Also, the little bottles they give you for body wash or shampoo are very tiny, so if you plan on staying for a week or longer, make sure to bring your own.

Great Family Get Away
The property was in a great location, very close to the beach and shops. The decor was exactly as shown in the pictures online. The beds were very comfy as well as the pillows! The kitchen was fully stocked with every cooking appliance you could possibly need. Just a heads up, there were no paper plates or condiments of any kind. Many places we have stayed at have things people have left behind, such as salt, pepper, paper plates and things of that nature. Not a major deterrent, but something to be aware of. Our only two issues were the fruit flies and the condition of the pool. The filter never seemed to run and every day my husband would be out trying to skim the debris from the pool. The management team did leave us two fruit fly traps, but they could not keep up with the amount we had. Overall, it was a great place for our family to get away and decompress. We would definitely consider staying here in the future.

Great spot!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Lucky Dog Cottage. The house was clean and organized it had everything you would need to make you feel at home. This made it even better because we spent more time in the home the first few days due to weather. The only issue I had was we could not use the garage to securely store our fishing equipment and other items. This was one of the reasons that we chose this property. I will take it as lesson learned and will do a better job of asking questions about the property's we book in the future.

Customer service is top notch
We had some problems with the appliances the first half of our stay which was over a weekend. The maintenance man was so nice and because our stove and oven were not working he brought us some more propane for the grill. While everything was fixed it did take several days. After our stay I reached out to Port Aransas Escapes and they were so helpful! The house is very well set up and the beds are comfortable, I would bring your own pillows though. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need during your stay. The location is great close to the IGA and the beach is just a couple of streets away.

Loved it!
This unit was great for our family vacation.. we had so much fun. Close to the pool. This unit has a wraparound porch area next to a dirt road for easier vehicle access than most. The only problem we had was the freezer went out, fortunately the refrigerator continued to work. The maintenace people were awesome and supplied us with a huge ice chest filled with ice throughout our stay!! Hope they get the freezer repaired soon. We had a great time!

Excellent Design
We absolutely loved our stay. The location is great! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Plenty of space. The outdoor space is wonderful and great for gathering! You won't be disappointed with this rental. We will return. It's at the top of our lists for Port A stays.
