Amazing Family Weekend
This was our fifth stay at this property, and we absolutely love this house! It's become a favorite place for our family to get together and enjoy time away. We did encounter a few maintenance issues during our stay, but the response was excellent. The staff addressed our concerns promptly and were always respectful, courteous, and helpful. The office staff were equally wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and a pleasure to work with. We truly appreciate the great customer service and look forward to returning again!

A great unit for a large family! Having no garage access to the unit except through a tiny elevator was very inconvenient. 3rd floor shower drain didn't work and maintenance couldn't fix it and needed to call a plumber who couldn't come out during our stay. My daughters family had to share a shower with others. Upstairs dryer was broken which also maintenance couldn't repair since it required ordering a part. One dryer for 10 adults and 2 children was challenging. We were not informed that the pool and hot tub were connected so we paid for heating the hot tub and ended up with very hot pool water. Too hot for the kids so we ended up asking maintenance turn down the temp (basically not heating it) so we could enjoy the pool. A $500!loss for us since it's 100.00 a day to heat the water. Office staff and Maintenance crew were very friendly and responsive, however couldn't resolve 2 of the 3 biggest issues. BBQ grill in the back had a huge hole in the middle making grilling tricky. Overall a 3.5 out of 5 because of the beautiful home, large family spaces and pool. Hopefully the unit can make the necessary repairs soon. We are loyal Port A Escapes customers (10 plus yrs) and hope to return to either this or another one of your properties next year. Thank you for another great family vacation experience!

Ten-plus years of vacationing with us means more than you know! We're so glad your family enjoyed the beautiful home, spacious gathering areas, and another Port A vacation together. We truly appreciate your kind words about our office and maintenance teams, and we're sorry several maintenance issues impacted this stay. The plumber was able to clear the third-floor shower drain after your departure. The dryer issue was caused by a broken plastic clip that keeps the door closed; the replacement part has been ordered and will be installed as soon as it arrives. Thank you for also letting us know about the BBQ grill—we'll be reaching out to the homeowner regarding a replacement. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the pool and hot tub heating and understand your frustration with how that affected your family's use of the pool. Hope to stay again!
Great house! The open kitchen and dining area were perfect for gathering, and there was plenty of space for our large family to sleep comfortably. Having a pool was a huge bonus—we could enjoy the beach until the adults were ready for some shade, then let the little ones swim while we relaxed nearby. I do wish we had opted to heat the pool, since it got a little chilly later in the day when the sun wasn’t out. We were also glad we didn’t rent a golf cart—the walk to the beach was quick and easy, and the boardwalk took us through a beautiful sea of sunflowers. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay again. Thanks, Marlin Madness!

Great Girls Trip!
What a beautiful house! Everything was clean and spotless! You could see the water from the upstairs deck. It took only a few minutes to walk to the beach. Loved the dining table that fit all 9 of us! Even though the other houses were very close, everyone was very respectful. It was also very close to places we ventured out to like Virginias on the Bay, Port A Beer Hut, and The Candy Shop.

Wonderful!!
We so enjoyed out stay!! Three sisters and 2 nieces from 3 different states descended upon this lovely home! Nicely decorated, so close to the beach! Very clean, maybe except for a little sand on the floors. We enjoyed the private pool also. Had it heated in April but it got too warm with the beautiful weather so we called and had it turned off. Very receptive and nice! We were given the wrong packet of instruction (for another location) but we were able to follow the correct listing on the fridge.
It was an awesome stay and we so enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!!

A wonderful celebration of my wife's birthday at a great location
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Port Aransas Escapes to celebrate my wife's birthday with her family. Everything was as we were told they would be and as we expected. Beautiful, clean and well taken care of and only a short walk to the beach. We had a great experience with the Marling Madness home and the manager and supporting staff were great and quickly handled any issue we had. We had an issue with the pool heating, but we were quickly refunded for the expense with no problem. As we told the manager when we checked out, we would be happy to recommend the properties to anyone interested in a great vacation location!

I absolutely loved this place! It was the perfect setting for a family getaway. The accommodations were cozy and well-equipped, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Great Stay
We really enjoyed our 5 night stay here. The house has everything you need. They include a few laundry pods, dishwasher pods, 2 paper towel rolls, and some trash bags, which was all really great. The layout of the house is nice. The pictures didn’t really explain it well...but it has a nice layout. The bottom floor has 3 rooms and two bathrooms. The 2nd floor has the living area and the master bedroom with a very large bathroom, and a half bath. The 3rd floor has the bunk room with a bathroom. The elevator was very nice to have for coolers and luggage! Oh, it also has a washer and dryer on the bottom, and second floor. Beds were comfy enough.
A few cons: if you get a golf cart, you have to drive a 3ish minute drive (on a main road)...you can’t take the walk over bridge with the cart. Also, the mosquitos in the pool area were out of control. I know this is somewhat out of their control, but we couldn’t even use the pool (in August). We attempted it and came out with so many bites, even with bug spray. I guess because it’s completely shaded.

Overall, it was a great place to stay.

A wonderful house for a beach vacation!
My family of 12 had such a great experience with Marlin Madness. The large kitchen, living room, and dining space was our favorite. There was so much room for each of us to be together. I will be recommending Marlin Madness to others and we cannot wait to stay again!

Perfect Peaceful Getaway
Our family loved this lovely getaway! Marlin Madness BB 909 met all our expectations. We enjoyed the set up of the house and the pool/hot tub was a nice relaxing way to end a fun filled day at the beach. This will be a place we will consider when returning to Port A.

The house was great and perfect for our family. There were a few things that could be improved:
- kitchen was not well stocked with essentials - no mixing bowls , cookie sheets, baking pans, platers
- down stairs washer did not work
- no extra blankets
