Okay
Lacking space to hang towels. Lacking bath mat and hand towels. Very clean. No good info on how we were going to be texted on door codes and “click on” instructions for checking out. Everything You Need
We stayed here for about a week for the 4th of July, and it was perfect! I drive a truck so the small parking lot wasn't ideal, but the proximity to the beach more than made up for it. This felt bigger than expected and was equipped with everything we needed for a week long stay. The size didn't bother us and in my opinion is manageable for 2 people. The kitchen was fully stocked and the dresser provided enough space for our clothes and belongings for the full week. The bathroom is pretty small so we got creative and used a kitchen drawer for our toiletries and carried them over when we needed them. Everything was very clean, the AC and appliances worked great, and we didn't experience any issues aside from a roach slipping in through the front door on our third night - they sort of swarm at night in the gravel out front but we kept them away with the porch light.
More than anything, we enjoyed that we were walking distance away from the beach, local nightlife, coffee shops, gas stations, and grocery stores. Some of our favorites were the lattes at Coffee Waves, bar hopping through karaoke at the Salty Dog Saloon, watching the fireworks and enjoying prickly pear margs from Bier Haus, the sunset dolphin cruse at Deep Sea Headquarters, and visiting the Texas State Aquarium (about a 45 minute drive into Corpus Christi, but SO worth it).
I didn't interact too much with the property management other than to call and confirm we were booked because the confirmation email took 1 business day and I panicked (lol), but they were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend booking directly through the Port A Escapes website for the best price, and they offered us an extra day at a discounted rate.

Cozy stay
This property is located conveniently in town. Walk to the beach, to the store or eatery. It’s all nearby. The cottage is only suitable for a couple or single. No room for kids and no play area or pool. Just a room with a kitchen. The property was clean and well equipped which was much appreciated. The floor were not clean which is our only real complaint. But keep in mind that it is difficult to have clean floor in a beach rental. We certainly didn’t make a big deal of it. The management is responsive and prompt. Comfy Cottage by the Ocean
I love this very nicely decorated cottage with all the comforts of home! I have stayed here twice and have felt safe and comfortable. It is in Port Aransas and close to the beach, the fishing pier, gift shops, shell shops, restaurants, churches, and the grocery store. Great experience
The stay and accommodations were perfect. The first impression of the local area was a bit rough, as the grocery store was very dirty,as was the closest local beach. Fortunately we planned a visit to Padre Island National Park about 35 minutes away. We ended up seeing sea turtles released, and drove down the beach to an area with no one else in sight. Coming back to Port Aransas was a much better experience, as the local restaurants and stores gave us a better 2nd impression. Great Place!
Spring Showers was a great clean place to stay. The furniture and decor were updated and the a/c worked great. The kitchen came with everything you need to cook a small meal. Romantic Little Cottage

Perfect getaway cottage in Port A.
The cottage was small but perfect for a couple. It was centrally located, close to the beach, great restaurants and shopping on the island. Great little place
We went for business/ pleasure. It rained all weekend and we left a night early but... we would stay here again. The coffee maker was broken when we arrived but it didn’t affect the operation of brewing, I just couldn’t steal a cup!! ���� The only disappointment was that the listing said no pets, so I didn’t bring my little dog.... Perfect Getaway! Can't wait to return!
This was the perfect little cottage getaway for the weekend. It has a full kitchen and you can save a lot of money by cooking your own meals at home. The welcome text did say that the refrigerator and A/C can freeze up if you turn them all the way down but we never had any problems. And we moved the thermostat down gently and incrementally and made it to a chilly 70 at night with no problems! The welcome message reminds you to bring your own personal soap and they mean it! there is no shampoo or body wash supplied- not even to wash your hands. Also, no beach towels are provided. It is also a good idea to stop for a bag of ice on your way as they only supply two ice trays. A few drawbacks were that the Queen sheets were obviously low budget and uncomfortable. The other drawback is that the bathroom is tiny and inches away from the bed. So if you're a new couple that's not completely comfortable around each other, you're going to get comfortable pretty quickly! The bathroom pocket door also did not lock. I LOVED that the wifi was private and they even have a DVD player if you want to bring a movie to watch. The room was walking distance to everything, including the beach, but you'll probably want to just rent a golf cart or buy a beach parking pass because everywhere we went had plenty of parking. A cozy efficiency/condo with a back deck. Close to restaurants, stores, and a few blocks from the beach.

Cute Cottage by the Sea
This small, cozy cottage was so clean and comfortable! They have thought of everything you could possibly need and put it into this cute efficiency for two. The nice interior decorating is perfect for a stay at the beach. This is a great place to unwind and take a break. Super clean and easy access
Super clean and cute little cottage. Came down to enjoy the cranes and was perfect for me. Good wifi, and easy to get to. Didn't have some expected amenities like coffee filters that you might get with private owners, but not a huge deal. This is an excellent small studio cottage that beats staying in a hotel or motel. It has everything you need except a full refrigerator which no one expects. Could not have had a better getaway. adaquately comfortable
Unit G was clean with fresh towels, bed linens, dishes, upon arrival. Bed was adequately comfortable and we found appliances in good working order. Bring your own coffee and spices if you plan to cook in the unit as only coffee filters were provided with the coffee pot. Good location within walking distance to the beach. Property Management seemed a bit clinical and indifferrent. Upon departure, rather than asking "How was our stay?" we were asked " Anything to report?" Weekend Getaway

What a cozy room.
The place is small, but very doable! It is fresh, clean and decorated very soothing. Just a great place to relax. There was neighbors, but honestly we didn’t hear anyone else. Close to everything. Lovely getaway
This little cottage had it all. Beautifully decorated, it had everything we needed to have a relaxing stay. It was super clean, which is one of our musts. The kitchen has all you need to prepare meals.
The location is quiet and is only a short walk to the beach.
Would definitely go back.

fine place for a weekend getaway
Overall this was a good place. The location was pretty good, although in the middle of Texas summer the several block walk to the beach with all of your beach gear is not super "convenient" in the end. However, driving access to restaurants, etc was extremely convenient, with lots of good places just 3-5 mins away. Putting "walk to the beach" in the title of the listing might be a bit of an overstatement for most guests.
The place was clean and tidy and had the basic necessities covered, although a couple of small recommendations we would make are that at least a couple of hooks should really be installed in the bathroom to hang shower towels. It was also a bit disappointing that there was no coffee available, which is pretty normal for these kind of accommodations. We also thought it was a bit funny and sort of strange to not have any photos in the picture frames. Why were they even there??
