Great Family Vacation!
We had a group of 10, ages 2 to 68. We all had a blast the Pearl! There was plenty of room for all of us. The view couldn’t be beat, we loved spending time out on the large deck enjoying the cool Gulf breeze and looking out and taking in the sights and sounds of the waves. The home seemed fairly new and well maintained, great AC, appliances all worked well, and kitchen was well appointed. My only suggestion was that maybe they could replace the grill, it has seen better days but it was convenient that they had one at the house. The elevator made it easy to bring everything in and pack it all back out, since the main floor is the third floor (best views!). Our grandkids loved all the sand toys and boogie boards provided. I’ve been coming to Port A for over 50 years and have stayed in many condos and home rentals. The Pearl is by far the nicest we’ve found so far, to fit our big family. We hope to return to it next year, as we come every year to PA.

Beautiful house and views, maintenance needed
This house is amazing. The location is prime, and the views can’t be beat. The elevator is a great feature for accessibility. Multiple beds broke while we were sleeping on them bc of missing slats, smoke detectors also woke us throughout one night. We had to call maintenance multiple times to address these issues, but they were prompt and very kind. We stayed a week and needed to buy trashbags, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, toiletries...these were all very low stock for our long stay. No beach towels. Lots of fun beach toys for kids available and wagon. Kitchenware, pots and pans need replacing. The hot tub was awesome! Great RV community- very safe and friendly. TVs great. Overall great house.

The view was amazing and the location was great. We really enjoyed the upper deck. The living space was very open and there was a nice kitchen. The hot tub was amazing and the elevator was definitely a bonus.

Very good except for the appliances- food would freeze in the refrigerator and the stove was pretty worn and not quite clean although it appeared someone tried to clean it.

Amazing House and location
House is looking right at the beach, very close walk to the beach, in a very safe RV community. New hot tub was very nice to relax in, house was clean, and has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Perfect Large Family Getaway

The pearl
The house is beautiful! It had all the amenities and super close to the walkway to the beach. My family of 6 siblings with kids fit with room to spare. I swear the kids played on the pirate ship in the front of the house more than they did the beach. The house was cool and comfortable after we got there. The only problem we had was finding all the rooms! Which isn’t really a problem! The kitchen table was able to fit everyone around to play games on in the evenings. Everyone said their mattress was comfortable and clean. The water had plenty of pressure and plenty of hot water for people to take showers. We were in town for my grandmas 90th birthday. The elevator helped a lot with groceries and luggage to the top and middle floor. Would stay again next year.

MORE TIME,
This was our first experience and I had to learn a lot about checking 8n and get the door code. Thank goodness my daughter was there to help and the company was quick to get us the information we needed to begin our wonderful three day, which was not nough t8meto enjoy and relax. The home was beautifully furnished with little extras, above what we had anticipated. They provided sand toys, beach chairs and wagon for kids, which we did not need. We took way more than we needed. Plenty of space in the kitchen/great room for our family of seven. The elevator was so helpful in carrying bags into the house. We live in Arkansas so it was quite a drive to get there, but next time we will plan to stay longer. Thank you for a great time.

Best Memory yet!
This was our second time to stay in this gorgeous home. My husband and I renewed our wedding vows on the beach in front of the home. Perfect day! We decorated the home and were able to accommodate 40 guests for dinner. The patio is huge! The house is big. Our father was in a wheelchair and the elevator made it possible for him to join us. The views are beautiful. Make sure to order a beach buggie before your arrival. We had a very difficult time finding one and ended up with a 4 seater.

This was our 5th Booking with Port A Escapes , and our third in Gulf Waters . Didn't Want to Leave!
We had an amazing time at The Pearl of Port Aransas! The home is beautiful and perfect for relaxing. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us. The views are second to none. Even the RV resort was beautiful. Everyone was friendly and Port A Escapes was quick to fix any issues we had. We will definitely be staying here again!

What can I say. The house pretty, great view but I paid way to much for a house that had a lot of deffered maintenance that your maintenance people saw first hand. Doors warped, broken doors, fogged window that needed to be replaced, the closer on the storm was broken. The screens were gross. We never went into the hot tub for fear it wasn't properly taken care of. We are also locked out upon arrival and took over a hour for someone to get there to find out once you got in the garage you could go up the elevator (didn't know there was an elevator nor how to use it). One of the maintenance people had to help us figure out how to use the TV's It's a shame that the owner of this investment hasn't taken of this house. I suggested to management that the owner should have given us a partial refund. They never responded. We did have a good time in Port A

Good rental. Location, views etc very good. House was clean and easy to use. Easy check in. Hot tub and hot tub area could be cleaner. Sand in bottom of hot tub. Overall good though.

The Pearl
I took my kids and their spouses for a long weekend to the Pearl. The view was just what we wanted. We visited the beach but primarily stayed at the house due to Covid. The kitchen was fine for our cooking ( although we had to buy another coffee maker). We all enjoyed the house. This was a return visit as we had rented this house last year.

Family holiday trip to Port Aransas
We stayed at the Pearl of Port A from Christmas through New Years as our "collective" gift. We had a party of 10 including our family with 4 young adults and then we had both sets of grandparents. Our goal was to enjoy the ocean and each other for a quiet relaxing week! The Pearl is a great house in a great location for a beach getaway. The house is configured for guests to relax with a view of the ocean on the 3rd floor as the primary living space and then the 2nd floor has most of the bedrooms. I would come here again in a heartbeat - very close access to the beach, and plenty of space on the beach to spread out. We rented 2 golf carts and used those to navigate to and from the beach and around town (legal routes only). As we are relatively frequent VRBO users I would add some suggestions compared to what my wife and I have experienced in other rentals to make the Pearl even better:
1. Check in process - not a big deal, staff was awesome but we drove in to the office to get a code for the garage. For code based rentals - which are common, could operate via text?
2. Upgrade and make the 3rd door entrance to patio fully accessible. This is actually really important for the flow of the house since this is the living area. We called and were told we could use the door but to be extremely careful - and we were, but I would offer taking this away as a limitation with a permanent solution would be great.
3. Hot tub is a great offering - we used it daily as we typically do on vacation. This one needs a lot of work, one of the spouts was not working so was covered up with a makeshift solution to keep water from draining off the backside.
4. Final recommendation - add posted signs for how to use the hot tub at or on the breaker box. This is what we typically see in vacation rentals and there are some extras on this hot tub that I didn't know what to do with.

Beach front getaway.
A great beach front house. Loved waking up to see the ocean. Great location. Just a short walk over the board walk to the beach. The house was spacious but could use a furniture update.

Spectacular View
Beautiful house! We have stayed in many rentals and this had everything we needed. The main room with kitchen and living room is gorgeous. Be aware that the elevator was not available for our use and there are a lot of stairs, with the main living room as the top floor. Also it shows 2 garages but only 1 is available for use. The bathrooms were clean and very nice. Loved sitting out on the deck and its proximity to the beach is great. We rented a golf cart but it is a 20 minute ride down the beach to Port Aransas town center. We used it to go to the beach everyday which was really nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Pre Chrismas family VACA
Probably not a good house for people who do NOT want to hear young children very early in the am because noise does travel quite loudly through the home. But, you will want to be up early for the view of the sunrise!!! The spot was GORGEOUS! We loved the home! It is stocked VERY well in the kitchen for this chef! Better than any kitchen we have seen, (other than mine). One thing that could be improved: There is not enough comfortable seating for as many people that the house allows. Only 4 "comfy" seats for just chilling in the house. Not sure there is anything that can be done about the noise that travels through the stair case. We had a maintenance issue with the house and the maintenance men were there within the hour to fix it. The communication between us and Port A escapes was superb!
If you go tp Port A you MUST get a buggy and travel the beach and go to town - eat at Trouts and then go to the creamery for dessert! LOVED this little town! The RV "park" is not a park but a resort! Beautiful!

Underwhelmed
The location was perfect. The views from the house were beautiful. It was definitely oceanfront. The furnishings in the house definitely needed to be refurbished. The barbecue grill was much too small for the house and was in the garage, which was far from the kitchen on the 3rd floor. There were not enough silverware and dishes for the 12 people in our family. We couldn’t get the WiFi to work and the air conditioning on the 3rd floor wasn’t working properly. We called maintenance Friday evening when we arrived, and they didn’t come till Sunday morning. We ended up turning it off for awhile to let it thaw out but it ended up happening again. The repair man changed the clogged filters Sunday morning but it happened again. The hot tub must not have been cleaned because there was sand in it, so we didn’t even use that. This is advertised as a new luxury home, so we were disappointed in it.

The property did not accurately describe the bed sizes. Only the master bedroom had a king size bed. The other two bedrooms listed queen size and they were full size beds. Some lightbulbs were burned out. Needed more bathtowels - had to do laundry everyday and we went to the dollar store to purchase more towels so we didn't have to wash bath towels everyday. The refrigerator's auto ice cube feature did not work. So, we ended up purchasing ice. The refrigerator temp was turned too high when we checked in, so we had to keep the refrigerator closed for most of the first day so our items would cool. The floors were not well cleaned. My socks were dirty after walking around on the floors. I used my bath towel to clean my bathroom and bedroom floor after showering. Some outdoor furniture is broken. The layout of the home is very comfortable. The view is spectacular.

Fishing days
4 couples get together each year. Guys fish and girls shop. This place worked well for us. Plenty of room. Great porch to enjoy the sunset and cocktails. Very pleased

Nice But Should be Better
I sure hope my review makes it to the owners of this property and to the internet. First of all, what you see in the pictures is a brand new house. However, after a few years of use, it is definitely showing wear and tear. I highly recommend that you request current photos before renting. The first floor patio area was very dirty and unusable. The hot tub had a lot of sand in it and was also dirty. In other words, neither were cleaned so advertising these two items for use by the renters is not truthful. I highly recommend that you bring loud fans to help drown out any noise at night because you can hear everything! Even the interior doors are not solid but are actually slatted doors. The kitchen was ok with the exception of a broken freezer and missing utensils and other cooking things. The house needs to be refreshed and cleaned from top to bottom. Repairs need to be made. On the bright side, it is in a great location and very close to the beach. Parking was awesome as we were able to easily fit four large vehicles. The A/C worked great! Water pressure was awesome and hot. The washer and dryer were adequate. A nice convenience was the elevator. And the property managers were great to work with. We liked the area so much that we have already reserved the house next to this one. Why didn't we reserve this one again? For the reasons mentioned above. These houses are very expensive to rent and rather than accept the shortcomings of this house, we decided to reserve a better house for the same price. I would still recommend this house as long as it is cleaned and maintenance is accomplished.

Great Vacation!
We had a few issues in the beginning and all were addressed and taken care of by Port A Escapes in a very timely manner. I highly suggest renting from Port A Escapes as they are really on top of it. Harry and the office staff were great!
I would suggest to the owners to update some furniture pieces in the living area. Loved the large table in the dining area!
A few outside pieces were broken.
Not a lot of kitchen items- We bought or brought extra serving/mixing bowls, cooking utensils, cutting board, corkscrew, and cups. We mainly used paper plates and our own solo or styrofoam cups.

Great views and enjoyed our visit! Will come again!

Eleven Ladies Loved It!
The Pearl of PortA was the perfect setting for our annual Girlfriends Getaway! We enjoyed the glorious views, short walk to the beach, picturesque RV park with its lovely waterways and Tiki Huts, the house’s delightful decor, beautiful kitchen , great table, TV sitting area, nice bedrooms and baths! Our favorite places to be were the balconies with their comfortable furniture and the sounds of the surf! Elevator was great for the move in. Nice pool... appreciated time out for adults only! Great helpful people at Port A Escapes and Gulfwater! The beach, restaurants, shops, weather, and relaxed atmosphere of Port A and Rockport did not disappoint! We are looking forward to our next stay! Thanks!

Family Reunion Weekend
Property was great. Hot Tub could have been warmer. Loved that the place had a lift. There is no insulation so you can hear everything, but this was a family reunion so it was all good. The view of the ocean from the master bedroom was amazing. We did have a lovely family reunion and would recommend this home. Very close to the beach, five min walk. It’s in an RV Park, we didn’t mind. Everyone was incredibly nice.

Beautiful Home!
We enjoyed our stay at the Pearl; it was clean and close to the beach. The only element of the home that I would change is, the doors to the bedrooms and the bathrooms. They are constructed of shutters, which removes all privacy. Also, one last bit of advise - take mosquitoe spray! The mosquito population is out of control.

Beachfront Beauty
Beautiful home with great views! The kitchen was well equipped and the house is furnished beautifully. Bed were comfortable with nice fluffy pillows. Just a few things I wish had been provided...more bath and kitchen towels. A few more blankets and a baby gate for the stairway. Overall our family had a wonderful time and made many great memories. We would love to come back and we will high recommend this home to family and friends.

Great View!
We have rented from Port A Escapes on several occasions. Their staff are always helpful and friendly. I appreciate the conventient text notifications you receive leading up to and during your stay. It has been an annual tradition for our family to visit Port Aransas around July 4th. While you have to be careful with some listings, this home has a true unobstructed view of the beach. We were slightly disappointed with a few items in this home. The downstairs room is marketed as a”bedroom” however it is not connected to the home through an interior and the room has an exterior entry door on the side of the home with no window covering. . We were intending to use this as a sleeping room, but no one felt comfortable. The call function on the elevator was not consistent. We were traveling with my 84 year old grandmother and there were times we could get her down to the ground level, but not back up. There was not a single glass bowl or plate provided in the home to reheat items in the microwave. Another factor in the home we selected was televisions. With different sleep schedules and morning/evening routines several wanted a TV in their room. When going to bed the first evening we realized there was not a cable box in 2 of the rooms, and ended up playing ring around the rosey switching rooms. The grounds of the resort the home is located in is very well taken care of

Great family weekend !
Beautiful house. A few electronics did not work. 2 DVD players and a tv did not work and the dishwasher did not work but overall the house was great and we would stay there again.

Our vacation
Excellent.
The house was well furnished with all amenities as well as being very comfortable with 2 or all 10 of us. With a balance problem to deal with, the elevator was a welcome solution. We did have trouble finding our entry into a luxury RV Park. A bit unexpected. Also a fire alarm battery failed one morning about 4:00am. We informed management and they sent someone to repair the next day.

Beautiful beach house
Beautiful home with amazing ocean view. The home is new and well decorated. The beds were all comfortable and there was space for everyone. We loved the 2 decks and view. Loved having aan elevator. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

A few things to note, there is a bedroom on ground floor that has no interior connection, we were going to use the room for kids but didn't feel comfortable so far away. 7 of the beds are twins. The doors do not block any noise. If someone is in the bathroom on 3rd floor everyone can hear. Also recommend renting a beach buggy for trips to the beach and taking out trash.

Great Vacay
Our stay was almost perfect. This house is adorable and the view is spectacular. The elevator is a lifesaver for unloading the heavy things to the third floor. Do yourself a favor and rent a beach buggy. It is so fun and makes the trips to the beach easier especially with little ones.

As advertised, beautiful, new, large beach home
Beautiful 3 story home on the beach. Outstanding 180 degree views of the beach from the wonderful outside decks. House is brand new and is tastefully decorated. The beds are excellent...I've never slept so well. The house is a 5 minute walk across the boardwalk from the beach, but I do recommend pre-ordering a golf cart, as it makes frequent beach trips and carrying gear a lot easier. Just a beautiful stay.
